A Place to Create
Located in Toronto's historic Redwood Building, The Inventors Nest is a multidisciplinary arts and cultural center centered around The Redwood Theatre, its principal public performance venue.
Members and community organizations have access to flexible studios, rehearsal spaces, presentation areas, production facilities, meeting rooms, a café, and shared creative spaces that support artistic development, collaboration, and public programming.
Designed to adapt to many forms of creative practice, the facility hosts performances, rehearsals, workshops, exhibitions, lectures, film and media projects, and community gatherings.
The Vision
The Inventors Nest is not just a desk-based co-lab; it’s a dynamic, living lab where creation, production, rehearsal, and presentation come to life around the clock.
Each space is equipped with projectors, sound systems, and mixers, designed to support every stage of development and presentation for a wide range of art forms, including dance, music, film, and interactive media.
As our space continuously evolves, we are reaching out to collaborate with a community of artists and technology innovators to shape an environment that both nurtures creative vision and fosters cross-disciplinary innovation
