Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
The Inventors Nest brings together artists, creators, technologists, and community members to collaborate across the performing, visual, media, and digital arts. We encourage the exchange of ideas between creative disciplines, fostering new approaches to artistic expression and public engagement.
Our programs support musicians, dancers, actors, filmmakers, visual artists, designers, projection artists, and creators working with emerging technologies such as virtual reality, augmented reality, interactive media, and immersive experiences. By encouraging collaboration across disciplines, we help artists explore new ways of creating and presenting their work while making these experiences accessible to the public.
At the heart of The Inventors Nest is a flexible, multidisciplinary arts and cultural centre where ideas can be developed, rehearsed, presented, and shared. Operating The Redwood Theatre as its principal public performance venue, the organization provides space for artistic creation, collaboration, and public participation in the arts.

Fostering Creative Collaboration
The Inventors Nest encourages artistic innovation by providing opportunities for creators from diverse disciplines to collaborate, experiment, and explore new forms of artistic expression.
Artists, performers, filmmakers, designers, musicians, dancers, writers, and digital creators come together to share ideas, develop new work, and engage audiences through performances, exhibitions, and community programs.
We believe innovation flourishes where creativity, collaboration, and community intersect.
Creativity takes many forms. At The Inventors Nest, inventors include musicians, playwrights, dancers, filmmakers, visual artists, designers, writers, technologists, and countless others who contribute to our cultural life.
