Spatial Oddity — Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 17, 2026
Publisher: The Inventors Nest (https://theinventorsnest.com/)
Spatial Oddity is a virtual reality music experience for Meta Quest headsets. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
The short version
Spatial Oddity does not collect, store or share any personal information. Everything the app does happens on your headset.
What the app does not collect
- No account, sign-up or login.
- No names, email addresses, contacts or other personal details.
- No analytics, usage statistics, advertising identifiers or crash reports.
- No microphone, camera or passthrough recording.
- No location data.
Information used only on your headset
To work in VR, the app reads the position of your headset and controllers and the buttons you press, so that you can fly, grab and throw. This is processed in real time on the headset to draw the scene and place the sound around you. It is not recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
Internet and permissions
Spatial Oddity works fully offline and does not send data over the internet. Like all apps built with Unreal Engine for Android, its package lists some standard permissions by default (such as network access, and Google Play licensing and billing, which Meta Quest headsets do not have). Spatial Oddity does not use them to collect or transmit anything.
Sharing
Because the app collects no information, it has nothing to sell, share or disclose to anyone.
Children
Spatial Oddity is intended for teens and adults (13+) and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Meta Horizon Store and your headset
Spatial Oddity is distributed through the Meta Horizon Store. Meta may collect information when you browse, install or use apps on its platform and devices, under Meta's own privacy policy (https://www.meta.com/legal/privacy-policy/). The Inventors Nest does not receive that information.
Data retention and your choices
There is no personal data to keep, access, correct or delete. Uninstalling Spatial Oddity removes it and its files from your headset.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of Spatial Oddity changes how it handles information, this page will be updated before that version is released, with a new effective date.
